Planned Parenthood activated a “Care Cafe” at SXSW 2023 in an effort to increase awareness of the services provided at health centers and invite folks to show support for access to health care. Visitors could receive a cup of coffee, a swag bag of condoms, lube, chap stick, and dental dams, and participate in leaving their reason for supporting Planned Parenthood on the truck itself.

The I’m for/I Fight For Planned Parenthood campaign brings awareness to the breadth of services Planned Parenthood health centers provide. We used typography as a pattern as a way to showcase the variety of health services that make up the organization and introduced handwritten fonts to maintain that health care is personal.
